:Rofl:Rofl Yeah rite!!!!!!
In your dreams buddy:Rofl:Rofl:Rofl
Remember what SHE controls!:Rofl:highfive
Rees you need to be the man of the house. Just this morning I had my wife down on her knees begging me. Begging me to come out from under the bed and fight like a man.
You tired of the old V10 already?
Ya'll are right--Melissa saw the post and it gave her a good chuckle :biggrin
Heck it's just a 5.4L but the gas is killing me--would cost me about 2K to change the gears out-which would help but not worth it.
It's those dang 4:11 gears--hate em--3:55 is as low a gear as I want--but I guess I should just keep driving it til it dies and go from there-it gets the job done for sure just hate spending so much on gas. Heck I'd be happy with 15mpg--this thing gets as good a mileage as my boat :banghead I did the figuring on a diesel and even with higher diesel prices I would still save about a c note in fuel by switching!!
Gas would Really be a bummer if your wallet matched your height KD1!!!! :-)
aint that the truth
What Sat said!:hatchet:
Good gears about 1500 a set
I can get cheaper but the limited slip will need to be overhauled- basically both punkins would need overhauled completely. Heck the truck has almost 300k on it. Would probably keep it as is and buy a newer model and keep it as back up
Did they not make it with 383 or 350 gears in some of them, if so find a good used rear end and swap it out. Got to be another way to skin this cat.
Wouldn't take nuttin for my ole diesel, wish I knew more about working on it. Got to fix a fuel leak on the return lines and put in some injectors, still gets around 17 tho.
Think all the gassers have 3.73 or 4.11 but could be wrong. 3.55 would be as low a gear as I'd want. But the way I am about builds even if I got another rearend I'd still rebuild so I'd know what I had :D.
I didn't realise that truck was 4x4, shoot go with something along the 300 range and put it in 4 low to pull out.
Wish I could get while of one of the Chevy 1/2 ton diesels, didn't make many of em but the fuel mileage was awesome.
just get some of them really tall tires.
Sorry for sayin Tall, I forgot who I was talkin to.
u got that right :)
