Never had any bad jerky I bought but never tried that blend. I used to make my own Deer jerky every winter.
I've had some store bought I didn't like. That jerky was the nearest thing to homemade that I've tried. I would rather have deer jerky, but deer hunting hasn't been very good for me this year. Still got time though. :thumbup:Quote:

Hard to beat Jack Link's period. Will try that kind next time I am looking for jerky.
Jack Jerky is good bar none. All of it to high price for me to buy. I do make a lot from deer and geese every year.

I make it with ground venison (I grind my own, nothing added), plain old Walmart jerky seasoning, a Jerky Cannon, and my smoker........ good stuff.

Fired up the smoker today to make some, and the fire froze. I'll make some when it thaws out.
I make my own. Its alot cheaper, and I can get the flavor I want.
