Let me hear from you

The G3 Sportsman and I are always looking for some new ways of shooting crappie shows and on different lakes. Thought the best way to schedule shoots is to ask what you guys would like to see.
Crappie are my favorite shows to shoot and I'd do a lot more if it weren't for my commitments for variety. We still manage at least 6 a year so, what do you think you'd like to see. With who maybe or where? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I'd prefer to show what crappie fishermen want to see.

Go to Sardis and have local guide Feelay on here take you out. Would make a great show that a lot of people could relate too.

Yep, would like to see something on cranks, saw plenty of stuff on other forms or techniques.

Pulling cranks and long lining.....

show up at a crappie camp and make a show you will eat real good and have a great time got 1 in LA. then sippie then AR then MO then IL early this year with crappie . com

Crappie Camp would be fun. MO and IL coming up. Thanks for the buck brush show at Rend Lake. That was fun to watch.

I would like to see a crank pulling show, night fishing show, or side pulling on Pickwick with Roger Gant (local guide and 2011 Crappie Master national champ). I really enjoyed watching the Reelfoot show, thinking of heading up that way to try out the Blue Bank after seeing that one.

How about longline trolling with Mr Dux on Ky lake in the spring or shooting docks with crappiepappy on green river lake.

Roger Gant side pulling on pickwick :popcorn

Pulling cranks ( maybe with planer boards with tattle flags) you could use the precision trolling app on your smart phone and dial 'em in. Pushing cranks might also be an option

:Rofl .... Sorry, Chaunc ... but, there aren't any private docks on Green River Lake. :yikes
I've done most all of my dock shooting at Watts Bar Lake (Tenn) or Weiss Lake (Ala).

I already got a G3 what would I do with another one. They are a great boat for crappie fishing, when guys are talking about new boats on here it is probably the most overlooked.,

Some tidal river crappie fishing alot of us here along the coast do it here in Md and VA eastern NC too. Or a Kerr lake trip in va/nc with Fishdoc a guide there who is a regular on here.

We folks up here in New England are not allowed to use more than 2 rods per person. (Spider rigging is out - period. But most crappie shows show multiple rod techniques only.) Consequently, we do a lot of drifting and casting up here. I've never seen a show depicting effective casting techniques and equipment, for crappie! That would be refreshing indeed.

Midwest crappie had some great crank pulling videos with Kent Driscoll a couple years ago, dont know iif they are still posted on the site though. Seems like they take them down after a while, maybe once they find their way onto one of his B&M DVDs? Russ posts on this site, he might be able to point you in their direction. Anyone would be hard pressed to make a better crank pullin video than those, he had one on sardis and 2 on Grenada, or maybe it was 2 on Sardis and one on Grenada.

That would be a good show

Me and several others vertical jig in the colder months and do very well with it. I haven't seen a show that captures the excitement of knowing where they are (usually 20fow or deeper), setting up and moving towards the structure and see it come into view, then the world class THUMP when what you just saw come into view on the finder sucks up your offering. It keeps me out there for hours in cold weather, and I get disappointed when the pattern changes come spring. Just my two cents, and I like what you do for us so far. Keep em coming.

I 2nd the Roger Gant deal. He is an interesting guy & knows crappie. He has the side pulling technique down to a science. But, hey I'll watch anything that has to do with crappie fishing. I'm always learning(or trying to)

Pushing crank baits is something I haven't seen on TV

Thanks for doing some shows about crappie fishing. Just do anything but minnow fishing.

Come to nc ans fish Badin. Hardly hear about this lake but it's loaded with slabs. Check my reports in the nc section. We got some big cats too if ya got to fill that need. I enjoy your show Scott. Keep it up man!

Get a couple of our sonar gurus (from both sides of the fence) for an on the water show on how to tune and identify the most likely fishing spots and fish. Maybe could get electronic techs to hook FF directly into video recording.

Exactly.

If you want to do a crappie show that is different that Anything being done...simply explain IN DETAIL.....WHY you chose the spot to fish....most any crappie show you can see guys catchin fish...and that's great...but if you want to capture an audience that will come back to you time and time again, tell me how you scouted, what maps or electronics you used....FILM THE DANG SCREEN and say, "THAT! THATS what we're lookin for! RIGHT THERE!"

SHOW ME how to interpret the screen and what exactly I need to be watching for...then tell me how you got close enough to even see that on your screen. You didn't just stop there "by chance" and start graphing...I want to know how to explore a new body of water and eliminate lake bed...or even redefine the way I look at a body of water I have fished all my life.

I bet if you polled 1000 fishermen, not one would disagree...not ONE! (unless he is a pro or already knows how to do this...most of us aren't pros)

1000 out of a 1000 padnuh....that's a show.

More of what to do before the catch ...we all know what to do after the catch.....boat rigging...finding the place to fish and how to rig your poles or rods..these guys use what works for them. That always interests me. thanks
