Yumm, I've been eating black-eyed peas all day. I need the good luck.
lol guys the chickens were mighty good but I gotta tell ya, that little ham was something else. Gonna have me some good sammiches off of it this week, best part is between the chickens and the ham and a few ingredients I spent about 25 bucks at the grocery store and that included stuff to make a nice pan of smoked mac and cheese, got enuf left over for lunch the rest of the week.
The smoked Mac and cheese was the bomb FeeshAttachment 146521

Got to try that ham.
Smoked Mac and cheese. Interesting. Might be my Grand daughter's hero. how did you do that?
Looking real good
You just boil your shells and make up your Mac&Cheese just like normal. I like using 3 or 4 different types of cheeses to give it a more complex taste. Then instead of oven cooking, place it in the smoker. I also take some smoked sausage links, "preferably Country Pleasin' hickory smoked" peel the skin off, and dice them into 1/4 chunks. Mix these in before cooking and your grand kids will think you are the Mac Daddy. You can google 3 cheese or 4 cheese macaroni recipes and choose a combo of cheese that are right for you.
