I'm convinced the sound alone with a 35 or 45/70 drops them in their tracks!! LOL

That's getting done good one Scotty.
Nice deer Scott. Way to get it done.
I reload for over 33 calibers, but have not worked with yours. Have hunted with a 270 Win all my life, and have over 100 deer with it. I researched you rifle, and found that is was designed to be a flat shooting, plains rifle, that would give high velocity in a lighter weight rifle built on a short action. That said 3300fps will be easy with 130's. 3100 fps will be easy with 150's. Any of the premium bullets should work fine. Switch to a load with the Nosler Partition or Accubond, and go hunting..These velocities are an average of 250fps faster than 270 win
Good job
