From what I read about the Chicken Coop it is on the Texas side of Toledo Bend. When the bite is on it could have 50 boats in a area the size of a football field. you have to check with Doc Waldo
I'm not a big fan of terminology that only a few that are in the loop know. I could mention "The narrows", "The hole in the wall", or "Hell hole" and only a select few would know. Hey but that's just weird me I guess. :)Quote:

Mermantau, what he meant was it was crowded, with lots of boats. The chicken coop in Toledo Bend has boats on top of each other on weekends when the crappie are biting. Very deep area and the fish love it in the winter. Will be there next week myself. By the way, where is the narrows, hole in the wall and hell hole? :biggrin Just kidding my friend!!
