Also have two new battery boxes, 25 feet of 6 ga. wire, trolling motor receptacle, a minn Kota quick release mount, a transducer switch, a 60 amp circuit breaker, 50 ft of 14 ga wire, and a new switch panel to allow turning off power to the trans switch when not in use.

Good looking switch. That will work extremely well. Best money I spent was on a quick release mount.
Which mount the puck or metal slide I have the puck was thinking about the metal slide would be easier to slide back to haul and coverQuote:

Also got the 6 ga wire pulled up to the front and the 60 amp breaker mounted and wired. More tomorrow.
The breaker should be mounted close to your batteries....I guess you know that though
I like the breaker mounted to the battery, if it gets tripped its easy to get to.
Well Shoot, actually I didn't know that the breaker needed to be close to the batteries, I was thinking that it was in the line to protect the trolling motor from an over current condition like a locked rotor. So I mounted the breaker close to my trolling motor receptacle thinking it would be easy to reach from the front chair if I needed to reset it. But that is an easy fix, already made up a jumper to go from the battery switch to the breaker, and then coming out of the breaker is the positive lead going to the front of the boat. Thanks.
Well, forgot to take pictures today, guess I just had too much else on my mind. I fixed the problem with the circuit breaker location that was pointed out to me last night. Spent today installing the trolling motor receptacle and building a new wiring harness for the boat to change the location of the switch panel from beside the rear seat to beside the front seat just behind my throttle, that way I can reach everything from the front seat. Also wired in the transducer switch to allow switching from the terrova US2 transducer to the Humminbird SI transducer and vice verse. Tomorrow if all goes well will get the new switch panel mounted, get a plate made to cover the hole for the old switch panel, and maybe get the new trolling motor installed. After that I should be pretty much done except for tuning the carbs on the outboard, that is the last step since I pulled the carbs and put kits in both on Christmas afternoon. Almost ready to fish again. Every day I am amazed at how well this Alumacraft has held up for the past 15 years of abuse with very little TLC. Guess that why I am having to do so much now since I haven't done a thing for the past 15 years.
