Sorry, but my usual "gift for gab" has failed me. As soon as I get over the shock of being named 2013 Crappie.com Man of the Year, I'll post up some pics and a short "acceptance speech".
But, until then, I just want to say THANKS to everyone involved in selecting me for this prestigious award. It's been an honor & my pleasure to serve this great site.

And I thank all the Crappie.com family for their kind words & support, and their comments on the Home Page articles. I just hope ya'll will forgive me for some of the misinformation I may have given in some of those posts taken from the archives :Rofl ... like I've always said, I ain't no expert on anything. But, with the help from the discussions on these matters, I hope I've corrected and/or owned up to any such misinformation that is contained in those posts.
I look forward to continuing to learn from & contribute to this site, and the wonderful sport on which it's based & to which it serves.

CP I know what you mean by being speechless. When they bestowed the honor on me last year at our D'Arbonne gathering about all I could do was wipe the tears while everyone look on and congratulated me. So now I congratulate you and agree wholeheartedly with the choice. What better person to represent us and our super fine forum. There is none better.
