Well can't show pics and have none yet. Have to Go back a bit since we both got our Christmas before hand. I got a Humminbird 958 for the front of my boat, then a few smoking pipes that are very nice and a fly rod I will use as a fly rod and a jig pole from BPS along with a bunch of other little things I picked up like a hand full of flies I want to copy and even got a few to use that I didn't tie, LOL! The rod is 9' and is a 8 weight which to me feels perfect for this and I can even fly fish with it and it should handle a large bass if one should stray to my line, LOL!
i feel like I am forgetting something?

sounds good Skip, wish I had a new fly rod. He brought me a new pair of blue jeans and a box of chocolate covered cherries yum, yum. and bass pro shop gift cards.
Was lucky and found they had a sale on these rods and came with a life time warranty for $79! They did have a higher model for $150 that had the same black in it so seemed to me $79 was a deal. Now though I do need to get another fly reel with some floating front weighted fly line, LOL! For jigging I plan on using it with that new Wally Marshall Solo reels.
I got some good stuff, like an under armor zip hoodie. A new personalized Bible and some shirts professing my fishing addiction.
Santa brought be an IM6 6.6 UL with a Shimano sienna 1000 spin cast, a couple pair of blue jeans, new pair of work boots and a couple Bps gift cards. Hmm, trying to figure out what to do with the gift cards!

Sounds and looks like you lost for sure....Well I got a small tackle box, Pair of warm up pants, Still cant wear regular pants after operation on Kidny, Incissions need to finish healing first, And my sweety is bringing here son stationed in San Diego, USMC, Over for visit tomorrow. First time meeting him. Best CHRSTmas in a long time. Best present will be when she says yes to my proposal of Marriage... Going to ask tomorrow. But even still, a great Christmas.

My sweety got me a dehydrator and a jerky slicer from Cabelas, a reel for a B&M that I haven't put a reel on yet, a bunch of fly tying material, a Danvise extension, and a shopvac. She did GOOD!!
eric, doubt you'll be on a forum tonight...but anxious to know how it went. God has really blessed you!
