Would like to get some folks together to contribute to the effort to put in some attractors and such.....
Say 4th weekend ( Saturday) in January. Lots of pallets available around here or other stuff
Any interest? PM me

great idea know to many fishermen say they are to busy fishin to put in piles good luck
I am interested if we are able to get out on the water that late in the winter.
Love to place fish attractors, will see what it looks at the time. Willows and hedge combined, is the best.
How do you do the pallets? Might be interested in placing some in a lake a little more local to me. I have some pallets left over from building a duck blind.
Several different ways.....
I was thinking of building pallet triangles....... but some guys build pallet stake beds. The pallet triangles are quick and easy to build and should go down with 1-2 cinder blocks. Was thinking to build them and put them on my goodneck trailer then haul them down to the lake to load in the boat. Maybe have a big Chili feed that day also. I am a true rookie at this but just want to do something that makes its better.
If the lake freezes over good and hard I could drag brush out with the tractor and just wait for the thaw......not very stealthy but an easy way to get big piles down.
Very open to suggestions from those involved.
If my work schedule allows I would be willing to assist as long going out on top of the ice is not some that I have to do
Sounds like fun! I wish I was closer and could fish Milford easily!
Dave,
May join you but will see how much traveling I have to do with work. The problem with putting piles on the ice is when the lake thaws the ice sheets can be blown by the wind and your piles not be where wanted them. Just a thought.
Good point......maybe build Hedge limb buckets and drop them. Might be something better done in late Feb/early march. I am going to start building some buckets as I have a dozen or so already and "lots" of hedge trees to cut limbs from.
Plan to start doing something.......
Dave, sounds good. But I'll be at JRTC in MAR. Brad
