Addiction

I confess, I am crappie fishing addict. I love to feel the thump, the the thump, and catch the thumpers. I love to fish with a cork, jig, spider rig, crank bait, or what ever i can use legally to catch the crappie on. I often go through with drawls which sometimes makes me drive long distances for a good thump.

I am in self treatment at least once a week. I enjoy sometimes meeting other addicts on the water or a treatment too.

Sometimes i self medicate with a good trip to the local sporting goods store where i buy merchandise to help me get the thump back.

Are you an addict too?

I confess I'm an addict and have been for years. I thought when I got older it wouldn't be as bad but it seems to be getting worse. Then I found this web sight and things are getting out of control. Now when I dont have time to go fishing I get on here and read about everyones fish trips. I think I need help but I cant afford to go see a doctor I've spent all my money on boats, rods, and baits. What to do, what to do?

I'm not an addict, I can quit any time I want to. I just don't want to. Oh, wait, I have heard that line before, maybe I am, but I'll never admit it.

Hooked on fishing(crappie fishing) not on drugs!!! Was hooked on Bass fishing (tour) could not get enough or win enough money!!!! Where ever the next highest paying tour was being held drove all night and day to get to location(slept in boat docks,truck,Carried sleeping bag in my boat!! The start of boat motors firing up for takeoff wakes you up thats an addict!!! No price to high on any lure as long as it is catching fish!!! Crappie.com and a local crappie fishermen has me hooked on crappie fishing!!! Then Arkansas crappie camp thanks Nimrod,Meatgetter,Crappie Pro,CMJ,Bowhunter,BillyE!!!! I am hooked again!!!

They Try and send me to REHAB!!!, but I say NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! and the smell of two stroke burning in the morning SMELLS....LIKE VICTORY!!!

I am not ADICTED to the "THUMP". Well that's what I keep telling my self, anyway. Only thing is, every body of water I see, I try to locate the slack water in streams and rivers, and wander what structure might be under the surface of any lakes or ponds I see, and where might be a good spot to drop a jig at to feel that THUMP......

My kayak alone has brought home 57 crappie in three days 50 miles there 50 back and I'm leaving Clinton in thirty mins... The very next warm spell we have after the pressure stabilizes back out you'll see my tent and camping gear on the left across from the pond Talked to Vince last night and he said come on with it boys I even got electricity down there u can use ... Dadgum Hard to pass that up

I agreewith all love the thump and that G.A.S. I have that too.

I am addicted to the outdoors , don't matter weather it's huntin or fishin just can't stand to sit around the house !
