Group 27 marine from Wallyworld. Good price, good warranty anywhere and as good as anything else out there.
I used to get those big marine batteries from Walmart, but I don't recall the name or the size I used, but never had any issues. Sorry I couldn't be more help to you.
After going online and looking I believe it was the 27 Series Deep Cycle Marine for around $ 100.00.
iF YOU GOT 6 YEARS OUT OF 1 , I would get the same thing. Thats been exceptional good batery

OK thanks...problem is no body around here sells them.
i used to use deka's but they are hard to find, so i had to go maintstream and use interstates, the last four i have had sucked and for the price the next two i buy since i can't seem to find any local deka dealer are gonna be walmart batteries.
If you just want a cranking battery, the Optima model 34M is a good choice. Longest warranty of any battery I think. It sells for around 175.00. Now their deep cycle trolling batteries cost more, but I have 2 of those powering my Minn Kota and I have had no issues with them in 3 years.
Have a Napa starting battery that has been a good one. They told me the battery is made by Deka.
I would also recommend Deka. Battery Outlet sells them. Also, check the CCA requirements for your motor.
AC Delco Voyagers. Had 3 that went 7 years a piece. That sold me on them.CF
I went to battery service and supply and picked up a refurbished gel battery to replace my trolling motor battery. Only paid $50 for it without a core, The thanking was if it last six mouths I would still be good. I have had it now for over two years and it has never let me down. I do a lot of trolling six to eight hours a day and it is still as strong at the end as it was at the beginning. Just luck maybe, but when I need a new battery again you know where I am going.
Cooper Marine in Lexington is a Deka dealer. Craig Cooper is a good mechanic also.
