That looks like an awesome kit.
How about a break down, of what is all in the case.
We make a single arm with spinner(walleye bait) a 2 arm light wire,a 3 arm light wire crappie rig!!! 3/16 oz,or 3/32 oz staggered barb lead head for 3 in grubs/swim baits with your choice #4,#2,#1 litewire hook, your choice grubs or crappie tubes 2 in!!!This is a kit we make for a local tackle shop!!!
We made the two wire crappie rig's for fishing Mississippi and Missiouri lakes!!! Where we cannot use 3 wire!!! We use a 3/8 oz mold but the tin/lead head weighs almost nothing!! Tried tin but had to add a little lead to hold paint!!!
Thanks for the info. Yea, Pa is the same way. We just finally this year allowed to fish with three poles.
All the crappie folks in our area say they don't work!!!! We started out fishing december the 2nd( before the ice storm)at 10:00 at 2:30 we only had 2 small crappie!!! used crappie tubes, grubs!!! At 3:00 on our last stop before loading boat on trailer hit our last spot with the crappie rig caught a limit (20) kept 19 in the livewell!!! Left them biting at dark!! Will not work if you keep them in the tackle box!!! Have pic's on my phone!! Have to get computer X-pert (my Wife) to load them on computer!!!
looking good Jack
Made those for a customer!!! Now all We need is a little Crappie therapy on the water!!!
Yes I'm interested in how much the 2 and 3 hook rig and what weights can u make
Looks great. I might also be interested in some of them.
Bobo
Looks good!
What is the advantage?? Are you simply putting jigs on all three?? So you can use multiple colors/shapes/sizes to see what is working?
I really like them. How do "you" fish them. Leaders on any of them or lures right on the snaps? I can for see 16 jigs in the water at one time... :highfive
Sorry for all the questions but really interested. Please pm me price/options/ect.
Scrapper have you not heard about the Alabama rig? Similar concept.
Jackie, those look really good, I'm gonna check out your website.
We fish a gin clear lakes Greer's norfork, bull shoals,Ouachita!! We use 7'-8' baitcasting equip,Shimano reels,PowerPro braid,15 lb test/6lb dia,1/16 oz-3/16 oz jigheads or your favorite crappie jig!! Can't fish it wrong the bait is a roostertail with legs!!.We pitch (like pitching a bass jig) into tree top's,brushpiles, bridge pilings(deadly) and slowly reel in.Have tried fishing these tres in 20-40'ft of water with an 1/16 or 1/8 oz crappie jig or tube.If any wind all most impossible!! I saw these at the grizzly jig show mMr Louie Mansfield(grizzly jig's)(three wire) gave me a dimmo how to fish!!! Started making our own!! I look at it everytime thinking that won't work until start pitching it into the trees can see results on Ark Page! They work best when fish are suspended!!In 20-40'ft of water!! I haven't learned spiderigging or trolling.have the equipment just need to get rigged up(2014) Good fishing!!
I would think those would be killer during the spawn. But I've never used one.
I'm seeing trolling around brush and timber with those!! Hmmm...b-day is in Feb...think i know what I'm asking for.
I have some similar ones with a plastic head and 5 wires. I tied some Gnats to hang on these so I can troll with them in fairly shallow water. Last Spring I was trolling stump fields and didn't want to fight that with these, but hopefully I can find some in the Hydrilla this coming Spring to try them.
The rig's are in most of the wal-marts now under the Yumbrella 3 wire Brand!! Don't have the spinner but will work!!!
