Eagle Lake

Should be a great tournament for MCC. The fish have turned on at Eagle finally. Caught 33 today our in front of the Lo Sto. PM me for more info.

Caught a bunch at Chotard too

The fish i caught last week at chotard were pretty good fish. The fish today at Eagle were huge.

See u at the weigh in and I bet u didn't catch crap. Good luck

All of the top 5 fished Albemarle.

Vic Finkley won it. The next three were Ladner, Lindsey, Chappel/Hudson. But probably not in that order.

Ok guys, I'm not trying to start anything but has someone made a misprint on Vic's totals? His big fish is listed hear as 1.91. If that is so the rest of his fish "all 6" would also have to weigh 1.913 to get the total of 13.38. I'm thinking his big fish must be listed wrong here, is it 2.91? Somebody that was actually there needs to chime in and set the record straight. It hard to believe someone caught 7 fish that weighed almost exactly the same amount each.

Might be a misprint but it might be the only one Vic weighed for his big fish when in reality he had a couple that might have been a tad heavier. Pure guessing on my part though.

I'm guessing also, I am not in any way disputing the fact that Vic won this tourney. I know him personally he is a great fisherman and he has won several before. I'm saying these figures on the chart that is posted here must be a misprint.

I bet Vic's fish were all cookie cutters. He had 18.05 won at Washington the year before last in the Fruit Jar, and didn't have a 3lber. They all were about the same.

Bill I would bet the house they were jigging. We started out at Eagle spent 2 hrs there and left and went to Chotard.

We trolled jigs out in front of the Lo Sto.
We were in my partners boat yesterday. Dark gray express with 90 Merc. The fish have been in that area about 2 weeks. How did yall do Bird Down??

We bought minnows but by 8 they are had died for some reason.Wound up being a blessing.

I bet they did pretty good for a lake they have never seen. Somebody that can weigh 7 fish on a lake they've never layed eyes on has no reason to hang their head

I weighed 10.6 lbs. compared to everybody else it was not good but compared to my expectations on Friday night it was good. I pulled up at eagle lake on Friday and that was the first time I have ever seen the place. I had my mind set on jig fishing piers. I caught nothing. With hundreds of piers and no idea which few were good I tucked tail and went to chotard to push minnows. We didn't catch crap in the few hrs over there. Then that night we went to the bar, met up with ATM, and he felt sorry for me and told me where I could catch 7 fish. The end

That sounds like a tail to me, their is no way a fine, upstanding fellow, of the highest morals and character like ATM would be hanging around a backwoods delta bar. Next thing you'll be saying is he was down at the lo-sto Saturday nite after the tourney. Lol

It was no secret where the fish were. You,me,and everyone else was in the right spot.. When they're that scattered you got to have a little luck on your side also.. I think it was a good tournament considering the conditions weren't the best. Next month we should have a little more water and hopefully it'll be great.

We were in the right spot, just didn't execute. By the time I figured out what they wanted it was too late. Wish we could have gotten there the day before. Those specks sure are pretty in those lakes. I even caught one of these things. http://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/...psea2cc515.jpg
