I went to the Ten-Tom and caught a few, too darned cold to take pics!
Bite was slow on Nader, usually is this time of year but with 3.5 feet of rise from the rains it was especially tuff. Managed to squeek out a limit but like Feesh it was just too cold for pics. Save Phace was a life saver today, even when fishing.
I must not be mad at em anymore.
I got a lot of jigs tied today plus baked a pineapple upside down cake.

Caught 2 limits on Grenada today, but, lens on my camera was frozen shut.....could not take pictures.
That's a fine looking cake, and it just happens to be my favorite.
I done got to old to go in this kinda weather. Lol had all the kids over yesterday anyhow. I wanted to take the pup hunting this morning but dang rains fixing to set in for the day
Dang that looks good Scott!!!! I love some pineapple wrong side up cake!!!!
Scott that cake is a work of art!
I'm looking forward to hitting the river below Pickwick for some sauger fishing and anything else that will stretch my string. You just never know what is on your line till you reel it up!The coldest temp I have ever fished was 7 degrees.Managed to catch 1 smally. All the turbines were running and the river had risen so much that it was hard to fish slow enough so I got just inside the mouth of a small creek where the current was slower and that is where the smally was.
Nice lookin cake Scott, that is a work of art.
Best day fishing I ever had was New Years Day bout 25 years ago. Me and my partner caught a double limit of large mouths off of the rocks at Grenada Dam, then caught about forty crappie fishing the other side of the boat. Cold as I have ever been! (and I have been pretty cold in my life!!!)
