Great catch Mr. Earl. I know yall played the devil in the wind today. Were they deep
The wind was not to bad but the leaves and limbs in the water were aggravating trying to longline. The fish were 6 to 8 feet deep in 10 fow! Water temp was 59.8.
Might only be 16 but they look like good ones. Good catch.
Thanks Spiderman. A few 3/4 pounders and the rest were 1 to 1.2 pounds. Strange day though. Just could not understand why they were only in ten feet of water without any structure???????? We caught 25 with only the sixteen keepers.
Those look good, wtg!

Nice meeting ya'll too! We should have stayed where we started instead of going up the river. We caught our last three keepers there.
Sounds like you and Cuz had fun, but must have been tough on Oconee too from what I heard from those that thought Blackshear was tough too............................
Glad to see Cuz geeting some seat time and getting you back on track of how to catch a fish!!!!!!
Weird fish I must say. I only got 10 keepers a couple days before you and Cuz went but they were in 20 to 25 ft and 10 or so deep. Guess they following the shad
