Got out officiated too BamaMan lol. If Saban had kept running with Drake instead of Yeldon we would have been scoring touchdowns instead of missing fieldgoals. He stayed with Yeldon and he was not producing
congrats. What was Saban thinking ?
Yep, our offensive coordinater was pitiful tonight. You can't win em all. But I hate losing to an inferior team. Happened tonite though.
No don't mind losing, just felt like we beat ourself through our coaching tonite.
malzan beat you. auburn now has the superior team. get used to it.
Ha ha dream on. He's made Aubie more competitive. Not dominate.
i'll sleep good tonight. you won't. you'll have nightmares. it will haunt you.
Nope .... Ill sleep fine. I love college football but this game is over the team with the most points one. Lol looks like well get a long break before our bowl.
Old duck hunter look under Alabama off topic ( good report on malzon for Aubie ) read what I wrote bout malzon, I actually gave him a nod.
no. that one second on the clock will haunt you like it's haunting saban right now. he could have tried for a hail mary or just run the clock out and tried to win in overtime. fire him.
LMBO can't fire him.... Shula mite come back:banghead
Now get off of Sabin. Miss Terry was just sayin y'all are spoiled and don't show her and Nick enough respect. But it really sucks that Urban, the guy to sick to coach Florida, may get to play for it all.

Good reportfor the barners on Malzon
Went to a FCA breakfast in Montgomery this morning and one of the speakers was Barrett Trotter. He was real high on Gus and talked about his Chritian influence on the players plus his commitment to the players. You guys mite have made a good hire. Time will tell. Kudos to Barrett, John Micheal Boswell, and Mo Isom for there testimonies today. They all have been through trials in there lifes and conquered those trials with scripture and faith. Back to Gus, he played under Gus so he is real familiar with him and high on him.......

YOU CAN'T PUT A PRICE ON A SMILE!!!!!
And Saban is still the greatest coach in football?? Not even close! Great recruiter Yes! That is all he's done everywhere he goes. Out Talent the opponents! Once these kids get tired of riding the bench up there Sabans done. And ditto to the person who mentioned Yeldon.. Auburn couldn't stop that other kid an Saban benched him. What an idiot..... Alright boys we ain't made a kick all but I got us 1 second put back on the clock so lets get a 57 yard FG an get outta here.. Ya right! War Eagle and to the Auburn folks in the state of Al. take a year off. You don't have to hear it from the Fighting Updykes in the state.
Saban is the best coach, a lousy coach does not make a great recruitor. LSU has talent too and Miles and the LSU name gets good recruits, but Nick has beat him what 3 out of the last 4 and should have won the other one as well. This only proves that nobody is perfect. Saban has won at other places he has went even without much talent. Yes I think it was a bad call to kick that, but if somehow he made it then everyone would be calling it a great decision to keep it from going to over time.
Without a stacked deck. On an evenly matched game u can sure have Saban. With the Talent Alabama has Saban should be embarrassed for last nights game. Not to mention what Cam,Fairly, and Gus did to him a few years back on his home field. I think he's an average coach.
Yes Saban is a great recruiter but going off rivals rankings Auburns last 4 recruiting classes have ranked 4th, 7th, 10th and 8th and that aint exactly chopped liver. Dont let the all time underachieving team of 2012 fool ya cause there is a lot of talent down on the plains too.
Bama's been over hyped and over rated. There's actually only two teams in the SEC that are really good this year and that's Auburn and Bama. Mizzou is a wannabe. A&M only has Johnny Football. LSU doesn't have enough thugs. South Carolina is decent, but inconsistant. The SEC has so many teams as a conference giving them more votes for the conference. I would personally love to see Bama across the field from Oklahoma State in a BCS game. That won't happen as Fresno State will probably get the nod for the Fiesta Bowl. Fresno WHO?
Bama needed this loss to knock them off their high and mighty high horse. They're good, but far from great. I don't see any team that stands head and shoulders above the rest this year.
Not here to poop on anybodies bubble but for so long I have thought they needed a playoff system to determine the national champion. Name another sport that follows ncaa's "SYSTEM" of determining No. 1. Its all about $$$$. Look at pro sports, NCAA basketball, NCAA football other than D1...they all have a playoff system. We have several good teams in our country and would love to see some of them play in a system where they can work their way to the top. Hell, use the bowls to make it happen. Would make for some dam good games. I think its coming in the near future...put this computer chit to bed....
Will be anxious to see where the "puters & polls" put everybody now...lots of good football to come...enjoy it!
that is true Handi, some people fail to realize they have similar talent. Yes Alabama's talent may be a little better, but any talented team can beat another in one game. If they played best out of five Bama probably takes at least 3, this is why basketball has March madness. The eventual winner usually has a loss or 2 or 3 to inferior talent somewhere in the season. The best team does not always win every game. You can think he is average all you want, I respect that. I also respect we have 3 championships under him which is more than most schools have in their history.
If we were doing the play off we would still be in @ #4!
Joe you and everyone else probably better be glad there is not one. I guess you heard what the guy on ESPN said. He said even after Alabama's loss in the iron bowl if you asked all the coaches in the top spots who is the one team they would not want to play, the answer would be they would all say Alabama.
Yea, yea, no possible chance of beaten bammer again, blah, blah, blah
I know who the one team bammer wishes the hadn't played is
Any a ya'll bammer gewbers watch the game ? Auburn ran for almost 300 yrds. We play a hundred more times this year, we run all over the field on bammer. You CAN'T stop us. next time we may run for 400 yrds. wanna talk about luck, how bout bammer TD from one yard line, bammers, the ultimate optimists. #1 run defence my patooty.
You bammers gewbers is takin it purty good. Hard to take punishment Joe dishes out.
tell you what, IF bammer ever beats Auburn again, ya'll get on Joe hard, he'll take it
Joe it is easy to rush for 300 plus when you get plays extended from non called holding penalties or face masks on 3rd and 18 when you would have had to punt and then you bust one for over 50, then when Bama gets a bad spot on 3rd and 1 for a first down thet gets spotted wrong and we miss on 4th down and you get the ball back. I can promise you that if anyone has the game recorded and they wanna sit down and watch it I can point out enough plays to prove Auburn would not have near the yards they had or near the points they had if it had been called correctly. I be willing to bet getting my picture made in one of those barn shirts over it. I hate to cry fowl, but when it is that obvious it is hard to ignore.
One particular play was Auburn having ineligible receivers down field on the touchdown pass. Also look at the takedown on the line of scrimmage where the defender would have gotten the QB in the backfield, not only was he held he was taken to the ground.
Therefore two fouls occurred on that play, oh wait I forgot to post the rule, I know Auburn folks probably do not know what it is, so here you gewbs go.
Eligible receiver

This article is about the American football term. For the National Security Agency's hacking exercise, see Eligible Receiver 97.
In American football and Canadian football, not all players on offense are entitled to receive a forward pass. Only an eligible pass receiver may legally catch a forward pass, and only an eligible receiver may advance beyond the neutral zone if a forward pass which crosses the neutral zone is thrown. If the pass is received by a non-eligible receiver, the penalty for the foul "illegal touching" is assessed (the play is treated as an incomplete pass, unless the ball is downed behind the line of scrimmage — in either case a down is lost). If an ineligible receiver is beyond the neutral zone when a forward pass which crosses the neutral zone is thrown, a foul of "ineligible receiver downfield" (penalty—a loss of yardage, but not loss of down) is called. Each league has slightly different rules regarding who is and is not considered an eligible receiver.

College football
The NCAA rulebook defines eligible receivers for college football in Rule 7, Section 3, Article 3.[1] The determining factors are the player's position on the field at the snap and their jersey number. Specifically, any players on offense wearing numbers between 50 and 79 are always ineligible. All defensive players are eligible receivers and offensive players who are not wearing an ineligible number are eligible receivers if they meet one of the following three criteria:
- Player is at either end of the group of players on the line of scrimmage (usually the split end and tight end)
- Player is lined up at least one yard behind the line of scrimmage (running backs, fullbacks, etc.)
- Player is positioned to receive a hand-to-hand snap from the center (almost always the quarterback)
Players may only wear eligible numbers at an ineligible position when it is obvious that a punt or field goal is to be attempted.
A receiver loses his eligibility by leaving the field of play unless he was forced out by a defensive player and immediately attempts to get back inbounds (Rule 7-3-4). All players on the field become eligible as soon as the ball is touched by a defensive player or an official during play (Rule 7-3-5).
Let me go ahead and add one more part to that rule, it is 3 yards past the line to clear up any misunderstanding. The player was more than 3 yards.
Got a let it go gewbers, got a let it go, man it's tearin ya'll up.:Rofl I can re-watch and see just as many missed calls on bammer side, how bout block in the back on punt return ??
Let me clear it up for you............................. YOU GOT BEAT !!!!! YOU GOT BEAT !!!!!! YOU GOT BEAT !!!!!
YOU WILL NOT LUCK INTO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, LIKE YOU HAVE LAST TWO YEARS.
ps. BUT WE JUST MIGHT !!!!
BAW HAW HAW HAW
Let Joe clear up the MAIN rule. When Auburn scores more points than bammer, bammer loses
you mean the block in the back on the missed field goal, yeah there was more than one that yall committed there, but I was not even referring to those missed calls, there were so many other ones I about lost count. I remember Bama had a block in the back but it was not on a punt return and it had no effect on points. Some Bama fans tried to tell ol seeker they were not worried before this game. I told them all week I was worried. I know that nobody gets a fair deal on the plains. Tennessee fan said it best that even when those inferior out of conference teams come to play at the barn they even get dealt a raw hand. All I gotta say is War Eagle now go bring another title back to this great state.
lol at this.......I've been watching Iron Bowls since 1986 and almost every time Auburn would beat Bama, the bammers put the blame on the refs, not calling penalties and what not. Let me ask this, since Bama has I think 7 or 8 game win advantage over Auburn in the series, how many of those did the refs blow calls in BAMA'S favor?
Personally I think Bama blew about five cHanes to score , because of offensive play calling. :twocents
You are right Bama S, Bama blew more calls than the refs, even with all those blown calls Bama still came ever so close to winning. How bad does that look for the barn lol. Mikey do not even go there, we hear the same crying from Auburn fans. It is the Iron Bowl, we all do our fair share of whining and complaining, that is all part of it.
