Thanks Torch. That's the one thing I actually do. I keep mine down. Gonna be 19 here Friday morning. Gotta wrap some hose bibs at the house to
Got mine done
Lower mine at the ramp, then put it back down in the shop.
I do the same--lower it when I get out of the water while putting everything up--but since I keep it outside I lower it when I get to the house.
You gonna be breaking Ice LOL They're just starting to hit on the ends of the piers at Eagle last I heard. Not really slamming it yet though. Let me know how ya do. I'm thinking about taking off work Monday and going somewhere
Thanks Torch, I've got mine down.
Didn't know that. On the poo . Been running mine once a week for a day to keep the water clean. Better go ahead n turn it on and let it run then.
DD, I sure hope you meant "pool" instead of "poo"! If not then i gotta wonder about your new pad. All jokes aside, running water will not freeze, at least in MS. I had a big in- ground pool for over 12 years, I didn't know anything when I started and learned by trial and error. Let the thing run and you will have less problems in the long term. If you have a lot of trees dropping leaves put a net over the pool and skim them every few days. If ya got any questions pm me.
Cant hide MONEY
Thanks for the advise. I've got oak and pine trees around the pool so I already bought a 20'x40' mesh net cover. Been on it for a couple weeks. I wanna keep it clean so I don;t have the problems that I've seen my friends have in the spring getting the pool right. I turned on both the pool pump and the creepy crawler pump, just gonna let them run if I think it's gonna be near freezing. Need tro run anyhow for the next day or so, so chlorine can get back into it with all this fresh water
