Awesome fish Dennis
How long were those two fish? Do you still have the head of the big one? I would like the age for my data set. As a general reminder to anyone who reads this, if you catch a crappie of his caliber, take an accurate measurement of length and weight and save its head if you fillet it. Your local fisheries biologist would be more than willing to tell you its age. If they do not have the time or are not interested, get it to me and I will age it. Thanks.
Hey, That's what I'm talkin' bout! We had a little discussion of what determines a slab on here recently........for those that haven't figured it out already, THAT'S what a slab is! Good one Dennis!!
