Always thought these were fascinating. Has been a lot of them floating on Sardis and Grenada this year. It is a Bryozoan colony. Bryozoans are small, harmless, plankton eating animals.

That's what they want you to think. You might recall the 1979 documentary titled "Alien" that featured Sigourney Weaver and Tom Skerrit. One of those things was planted in Kanes chest and when it hatched it busted out of his chest and created much havoc on board the ship. So...do you STILL think they are harmless? Don't bring 'em onboard...just sayin.
Last few weeks they have been in the state fishing reports. Interesting, any recipes ?
They're also a sign of good water quality, and they also help water quality by filtering the water as they feed.

When them chickens start coming from China, I'm swearin' off chicken. Them "alien aigs" is dangerous if left unattended in swimmin' pools in Florida......or,
