Cool looking truck
It probably needs those saddle tanks. Sharp truck.
Can't keep fuel in the f-150. That would be a beast at the pump.
You would be surprised at mileage. When I was still working we had a customer with one of those. Built on Ford 550 chassis with Cummins diesel. Normal driving about 15/16. Towing 28 to 35 foot boats around 10/11. Tires are what eat you up.
Don't mind him Cray, hes just mad he wouldn't be able to climb in it
No that is not it. Its this one he can take a nap at the ramp or get there late and sleep where hes the first at the ramp. 1987 Ford F800 with 10 Speed trans and 60" Stand-up sleeper. Air ride on back along with air ride seats. Ford 7.8 I-6 Diesel motor and 24.5 Wheels and tires.

Would be hard to pass that truck up. But like the old School Ford nothing Electronic to go wrong on it. But still have about $10,000 or more with a paint job to get it ready to run cross country. If we keep it that is. Sure no issue stopping or pulling with the F800 though. But man 6 new tires is like buying a boat.
Pete
Found some Steer tires for $378. each plus Excise tax. Its unreal but the old Ford is only about 20" longer then the Dodge. And will out turn with ease. But height would be an issue in some spots. I started out look for a 780 Volvo and add smart car behind the sleeper. But price took care of that fast.
