18 inches long. 13 inch circumference
Hard time believing what they have it recorded as for sure.... I would guess 3.2 to 3.6
Big .
Big enough to call the taxidermy man.
The kid is small makes that fish look big.To me this is big!
Mmmmm.... Tasty!!! Might have to get out a large skillet for that fish!
There had to be a thumb on the scales. No way that is a 5 pound crappie.
is that kdavid in that first pic??????
Maybe 3#er!
2.6 maby 2.7
All I can say is I really need to borrow those scales they used to weigh it.
Last 4 lber I saw was18 1/2 in and 18 circumference.3 in thick
never in a million years will that crappie weigh more than 3# I still say 2.7
5 pounds must be a typo
Any 4 that I have ever caught has been 18in plus and length will equal circumference.
might as well have claimed it weighed 6 pounds and make it a world's record. The agfc employee who weighed it must need glasses.
Perhaps the picture does not represent the fish at the time it was weighed. It's my understanding that the longer a fish is out of water the more weight it lose.
If so he must have caught that one about 10 years ago.
Looks like about 3 lbs tops. How much did the one pictured next to the hat weigh?
