Was going to buy grizzly elite g-5000 reels for my spider rigging rods.has anyone used them and do you like them.have spinning reels on them and don't like the line twist and memory.was wondering if these reels would help.thank's for any info you can give.

I went to them instead of the full size bait casters because they have the line winder and are less bulky. G-50000 work perfect in my racks!!!!!!!!!

Was looking at getting a few for my rigs. Was wandering if they were any good also?
I have 8 of them that I've been using, but I'm ready to swap them out for a full-size low profile baitcaster. I just like a faster retrieve, and think the rod feels better in my hand with a larger reel.

I know this is a old post but I was wondering about these reels how they was holding up I tought about these for spider rigging just can't decide on baitcaster or spinnng.
I've got several, but only use them on 9, 10 & 11ft jigging rods.
Use them fishing in shallow to 15 FOW. May want to watch youtube
video by Kevin Rogers and his dad. Good for the way we fish.
Don't like them at all line gets behind side of spool.

Thanks for the information I guess I will go with the Shimano IX 1000 or 2000 spinning reel.
