Searching for material in China.

China was very fun and very wonderful we were in a remote part of China on the southern border they were having a local market sale is they do one day a week so we decided to venture to the market to see what there was I come across a bunch of thread about the size of 300 there were eight individual roles because they were not on a regular thread spools in the cost of eight of these per packet one dollar soul like I was figuring I would find them cheaper on my adventures but I never did so I'm sitting here kicking myself for not buying a ton of this stuff by the way it was nightlong very strong also we found a lot of animal hair but of course you cannot bring anything like that back through the US they will confiscate it and you may be penalized or find but my mouth was definitely watering over some of the stuff that I did see these animals were unusual and I have never seen anything like it before the course there were some that were gray fox in something like a spotted dog may be similar to a dingo but not as large but I definitely wanted to get some course I could not my guide told me that you may go to jail for a day or two and a $10,000 fine so I wasn't going to risk any of that here is a picture of the thread I did buy we have a dear friend in China that I sent a email to to locate more of it if they can find it we will definitely buy $50 or more of the thread.

Dang looks nice and love that color. Wish I had been in your pocket to get some. Looks like a good thing to build up a fly body faster!

yes I did find a bargain but I didn't take advantage of things I wish I would've bought a ton of it they countered in about 10 different colors I do not know how much is on each spools but I would imagine over 100 yards I'm guessing and how are things going for you and did you get your website going.

Things are going well but slow. The web designer is taking a little longer than I had hoped for, but that is life. We have gotten a couple of orders off of facebook. Not near what I would like but I realize that it is the slow time of the year and we are new.

know what it was not our intentions on breaking the law especially bringing illegal goods into the United States from China we perfectly know well that there are certain guidelines to go by much as I will love to have a bunch of hides from China but I knew that if I would get caught that I would pay dearly so I didn't even try please note anyone traveling to China trying to bring in illegal goods will only be caught when you go through customs believe me they have the stuff to find what you are trying to bring in illegally so this is why I stuck to certain materials to bring that were legal I can only tell you that China has a wealth of many good things that I would truly love to have it's too bad that we cannot have a lot of materials that are there to bring into this country I truly would love to had a bunch of birds but the only way you could bring in that material is if they were straining feathers the feathers would be plucked off with the kind and sewn together so I use importers from the US to do this that I do business with Swan and son is a importer located in California they are a good source of materials they do import a lot of stuff from overseas: look at your site we have bought many pounds of feathers from them so guys be careful when you do order stuff make sure that it is absolutely legal for you to have.
