Chuck,
Sent you a PM with another site that is basically 98% about the north Texas lakes. Those guys will help you out.
got it, thanks!!!!!!!
Good luck up there, and let us know how you do!
randy, ya got mail!!!!!
Got it Chuck, thanks! We are having a Toledo Bend gathering the last weekend in January. Come join us.
sounds like fun!!!
Looks like Chuck got you hooked up Randy. It's a pretty good site for N-Tx lakes. Very little is discussed outside of there though, but very little gets discussed about Rayburn anywhere LOL!
very true....but i LOVE rayburn!!!! i need to get there more so i can find some places that hold crappie. just a newbee now, hopin to get better!!!!
I love fishing the areas around NE Texas, wish ya'll talked about it more. Skip is the only one I know from the Texas side that posts about fishing Toledo Bend. If you guys organized a gathering around the NE Texas area, count me in, I'll be there.
sounds like it could be a good time!!
Could i get that link too, please?
Lake Fork Marina is always a good place to stay. They have nice clean rooms, a restaurant , and tackle/ bait shop all on their property. I think they are running a special on their rooms this time of the year. If you like fried catfish/ shrimp check out AJ's buffet on Hwy 17. They are open Thursday thru Sunday and I can guarantee that you will not leave there hungry.
the minnow bucket is a good place also they have a good restaurant and bait shop and ramp and cheap
I would like that same link as well. I was actually up at fork for The Crappie Anglers of Texas fun event a couple of weeks ago. We caught ours in deep water under the bridge and a few on brush piles that our friends knew about. I couldn't tell you where they were though... no waypoints. The bridges are where it was at. And tie a jig on with yellow in it like a Gates Crappie Corn and you'll have better luck. that's what they were liking to bite
@waterboy and big skippy,,,,,,,,,ya got mail
