The media is good at setting impossible expectations and then running down a kid if he isn't superman. We had that happen after Jadaveon Clowny's sophomore season. I think they are finally realizing he as good as everyone thought he was, but they had him on a pedestal so high no one could have lived up to the hype.
I sure was hoping Ben would stay one more year to play with wiggins. I would of gave up crappie fishing for awhole month to make it happen, atleast monday thru friday.
Clowny is a good player, but the hit on the Michigan running back last year is what made him.Quote:

Hoping to see frankamp make the transition to college ball.. That kid can shoot from anywhere. but at 165lbs after high school not sure how much weight they can put on him for this year. and yes Wiggens is pretty good. Lucas impressed, Sheldon didn't show much, White still has slow feet, Mason will give Tharpe a breather, Tharpe looks like he's matured into the leader, Ellis still quietly taking care of business, Traylor is a foul waiting to happen, and Wiggins showed signs of he might live up to some of the hype.

Embiid looked good the other night the one thing he needs to do is get into the weight room. It looked like he was getting pushed around in the paint. On the other hand Black can hold his own with anyone that is one big kid, he is in serious need to work on free throws as much as he will be on the line. Can not complain about the bigs this year.
Good depth among the bigs.............betting Lucas transfers next year. Love that we have so many legit 3 point shooters.

Our depth is unbelievable, we can go big or small and get it done. I know the Frosh. are getting the spotlight but Perry Ellis quietly took care of business!!! Point guard battle is going to be fun to watch.........Mason understands drive and shoot free throws better than anyone on the team. Lots of upside yet.
Enjoyed getting to watch my first KU game of the year since I don't have Time Warner (What a crock this move is...can't see the first 6 games of the season for the next 6 years even though I get all other channels on U-verse.....I'm not switching and I'm not paying anymore fees!!...ok rant over) KU will be fun to watch...loaded with talent...but I have to agree with Charlie and Chatt the quick whistles are turning the game into a free throw shooting contest......and these new rules are supposed to make the game flow better????
