I live in Hollywood and use to make a bunch and sell them but I sold most of my molds.
that's not to far away
they have been selling some of my stuff at Tac-O-Bet in Scottsboro and Trade Day in Collinsville
I figured you might know Tac-O-Bet
what kind of baits do you still make
I go to both of those flea markets. I only make a shad bait and a 2 inch curly grub like the southern pro, sold everything else almost.
I am 12 miles south of Birmingham in Fairfield. I tie lures, solder pinmins and create soft plastics for friends and a few members here on c.com
Here are some sample photos Fisher Hawk 196

I just got my 2.4" 669 stinger shad mold in from bass tackle today so now ill have a 2.5"5 baby minnow
And i am watching lsbaits web site like a hawk so i can get the 2" mini bug mold (im trying to be patient but its hard when im going and looking at it everyday .... lol..
Ive got a problem i think)
Shhh.... bont tell nobody but i also make a lot of bass stuff (but i dont bass fish "AT ALL" "NONE") odd how that happened ..... guilt by association ..... i pass off bass baits behind gass stations and in empty parking lots late at night like some kinda of crack dealer .... hoping my crappie fishing budies dont see me and ralliey together and force some kind of intervention on me.....lol
Crappie fishermen and Bass fishermen
its like the bloods and crypts of the fishing world
But back on track maybe our paths will cross one day and we will get to meet
I live in Rainsville and i make baits. I do jigs 1/16 and 1/32 mostly in sickle hooks. I have a couple of Bass jig molds in football and bullet head. I have a couple baby 2" shad molds from Jacobs a couple of 7" worm molds and a hand pour mold. I would like to see some of your stuff sometimes. Cub48
These are some old pic i made i get time i do some close up pic. Fisher Hawk pm me where you live and a number i'll stop by sometime when you are in your shop. I live 1/4 mile from the red lights.
Wish someone lived near me too. I could use some moral support now and then . It's lonely in these here hills .
Texas would be good . That is one of the fish'n'est states there are . Get us one of them funny hats with a long feather on it and become the 3 Musketeers .Cross our rods and yell All for one and one for all . Sure to draw attention go'in across the lake in a boat .
Now that you mention it some rethinking needs to go into that .
So back to the baits .Cub48 Have you tried that bait with a segmented tail . I called it the cripple tail shad When I first had the mold made . I see it's still on Rick Jacobs site so it must be selling . Sure wish I knew what the overall reaction is to it .
Yes it is a Jacobs Baits Mold it is a very good mold and the quality is A+ i have 2 of the molds and can shoot 20 at a time. The only thing i think it needs is bigger screw heads so you can run them in with your hand and i know everyone uses clamps i have tried them but so far have not found that i like. No I have not used the mold that has the segmented tail. I am very pleased with the baits, i have been using them for the last to years. I have some dimples in some have though about enlarging the spur slightly to see if it would i have tried different temps but don't seem to help it don't bother me but i do not like to sell them with dimples in them. I only sell to friends so they don't mind they like the cheaper price LOL!!! Oh by the way i fish Lake Guntersville known for the Large Mouth but the Crappie are not bad here either. Cub48
cub48 if you can shoot the mold upside down I hear it will help with the dimple situation. Just be very careful if you try it.
If it's the first ones he made with the small holes you can bore out the sprue . Be careful not to cut into the cavity . alighn it in every direction . Before you do that . Try keeping pressure on the injector to a slow count of five then cap it of with a pile of plastic over the hole .
