Looking over the site map to North Abutment campground only one site has full amenities, and it's taken.
It looks like water and 50 amp electric.

They have rest rooms...bath house....washer and dryer....power and water .... what else do you need ?
:dono:donoAlways clean, AC in the summer time and heated in the winter.
Knowing most that have campers would rather have a spot with sewer connect than without.
I haven't seen the campground, just the map. The host is sitting in the center of a loop. Looks like they could have installed sewer lines to that loop.
:twocents
I know a BUNCH of folks that have used and are using that campground and this is the first complaint I have heard about it, if not mistaken there is actually 3 camp host, one for each loop.
I guess it is a complaint. You run over 10 sites to give 1 a sewer connection, why not make it 11.
What's the need of 3 host for 56 sites.
That money that built that thing was federal grant money and I am sure they done all they could. Sewer is the most expensive thing especially being as close to the water as it is. It is what it is and its super nice. think maybe there are only 2 camp host, one in the back and the other on the front 2 loops.
I'm in, got my cabin rented.
If it was SAE I could get them for $2.50 each. That's over $53. plus 25 miles of gas that I could buy minnows with if someone would let me know when they are coming through with them. But I made my own, .83 for the bolt, free chain links. I may never use them but I have them when needed.
Look at the campsite map. The one's that are pink have a problem and are closed. It's either water or electrical. Most likely the COE manager doesn't have a clue of how to fix it. Waiting the the gov. to send someone that does. If you went in and fixed one you might fix 4 or 5 at the same time. You may get a "Thank you for your time."
With all the money u just saved on those eye bolts im sure you got plenty of extra money to buy minnows with. The minnow guy got tired of delivering minnows when he could be fishing. When you drive 300 miles round trip to fish the last thing you want to do is deliver minnows. Sorry you have to pay a couple of extra dollars for your minnows but im sure you can make up for that somewhere. That being said ive gotta get up and around now...... im going fishing tomorrow:)
who needs a sewer connections Just poop in the woods problem solved
The campgrounds have rest rooms
Can a Ky guy attend the spring camp?
Great Reese already got my cabin just wanted to make sure. Thanks for making me feel welcome looking forward to it.
G, thanks on my way.
I'm not aware of any campsites at either Enid, Sardis, or Grenada that have full hook-ups. Electric and water only. Camped at all three and they have dumping stations for sewer.
None of the COE campsites that I know of have sewer connections, some at Kyle and Cossar do.
The MDWFP campgrounds below the dam may have Cane, not sure. If down there you better be ready to move if we have a big rain tho.
IN reading this. I can't figure out where everyone is staying. LOL Who's staying where?
OK, we just got ours. got cabin C06, not sure if A or B. If I remember right, it's at the end of the road at Hugh White. We'll be getting there Thursday
If our plans work out right we'll be staying in a camper. Might be a pop up but momma said she wont tent camp anymore.
Don't blame her a bit!
GDG and I are staying in cabin 12, I can't remember if its a or b. this is the cabins that are newer and a little away from the others.
Got ours reserved.. Looking forward to it...
