My 99 had 16s on it.....my 08 has 17s......yeh 16s will be all right
Might throw your speedometer off a little.
Should not throw speedometer off if tire height is the same......take a yardstick and measure tire diameter
Sats right though if outside tire diameter is different
Aint that first number the size like 235 or 215 that number ?
What about the load range on the 16's. They the same as the ones you are running now?
Don......try on the truck to be sure the 16s will fit over your brakes
That's what happened G. A friend called and said he found me some rims and when I got to his shop, we put the rear ones on, then the front ones wouldn't. The brake caliper got in the way. He owns a red arrow car wash and oil change and we pretty much wasted an hour. Only good thing was spending an hour with a good friend BSing. Recon it was worth it just for that
Well....now ya know for sure that you have to have 17s.....keep looking you will find some
another thing to consider if they did fit......I went to Sams to buy some oversize tires for my truck.....they pulled out their book and said they could not sell me those because they were not on the list of recommended sizes by the truck manufacturer....that it could put them in a liability situation.....
so, if you had bought them, you may not be able to get new tires later on.....just something to consider....
