The cooler weather is making the fish very hungry.

i hear ya i went out on the north end and had a nice limit. the guys that came by me said they were biting slow. i said yep

I went out Sunday with a buddy of mine and we caught 2 limits in about 50 yards . It a fun time to be on Shelbyville .

I talked to 4 guys from up around Springfield and they had some nice fish also and another guy who had his limit from just one tree and he said he had a hard time getting his unders. I myself had all but 1 over to get my limit and was throwing some 10"ers back just so I could finish with a nice 11"er or better and it didn't take long. The short fish in my pic was under 10" and not by much.
Sure sounds like some great candidates for easy money at the Springfield Crappie Club's Open Buddy tournament on November 2nd. Should be a real slugfest!!!
