BGJP's vs Capps and Coleman's
I've got a set of Capps and Coleman 16' poles, but just bought a new set of the 16' BGJP's. I can't wait to try them side by side, but I figured some of you guys had been there, done that already.
Post your results if you did the research. Curiosity is killin me!! I'm looking for the Pros and Cons of each pole.

The bonus money at the MCC!!!
I didn't change my mind, I just like trying new stuff. I still think the Ozarks are the best ALL AROUND rod out there, and I still have a full set of 16'ers AND 14'ers. You can Push Cranks with up to 4oz. weight, Power Troll jigs, Long Line, Pull Cranks, or Spider Rig really well and see the light bite with the soft tip section too!!!!!
With the C and C's or BGJP's its spider rig only, for the most part!!!

I caught a nice Hybrid with my C and C's at the Rez. I just wonder why Ronnie and Steve, Warren Cotton, Driscoll, Harrison, and Brad Taylor, just mention a few of the more successful crappie pros around this area use the BGJP's? I bet they think they get a better catch ratio with em!!!! Heck, they can get which ever ones they want----FREE!!!!! Must be Some reason for them picking the BGJP's!!!!!!

They use the BGJP's more often tho!!! Just look in their rod racks at the tourneys. :-)
I agree, use what's best to you!!! I'm just gonna try for myself to see if I like em better than what I have now. I guess I'll have a set for every possible situation. I might have to get a cargo trailer to pull behind my boat so I can take all my gear!!! I guess I could hire a valet to bring me what I need in another boat. Hard to take 50-60 poles by myself!! Hehehe

Thx for the reply. Have you ever compared them to the C and C's? If so, why did you choose the BGJP's ?

I have used the 12'ers for pulling #5 flickers shads, but they were the old blue ones, and I had trouble with them breaking about 6" up above the joint. I've never spider rigged with the longer ones tho like C and C do. They must be a little stiffer than the CC's?
