"Got my fix"

Today at Horseshoe. Took my son in law and according to his clicker we boated 80 fish shooting docks. Have been trolling all summer and man o man how i love that thump. We caught the mess outta some healthy 9 to 10" fish.

No pics, as we threw back the 10 or so we had in the livewell prior to leaving. Nothing close for the longest fish contest.

Just a nice day on the water!!

Awesome. Ya'll shoulda kept them. I woulda come and cleaned them for you. I love to clean a buncha good 8 to 10 inchers iffn I have a good place to do it. Them ole big ones ain't good for nothing but bragging, winning tournaments, and dulling your fillet knife. Yes, I woulda netted every single one of those too.

Nothing like that thump. Really love flipping a jig into cover and feeling a solid thump ! That thump can be addicting , becareful or you may give up spider fishing !:Rofl

Now if i can just figure out how to vertical fish with 2 poles, man the boat, and sling em in like they are on a spear!! :biggrin

It wouldve been 81..... but on this one cast , the fish told me he felt the tightness of my rod tip and could tell my crappie nibble was out of date so he spit it out.......LMAO!!
