You have a yard man! what do you know about hedge trimmers? :Rofl
I don't have a yard man other than me....tighten up u ol loaded geezer!
I've seen him--think his name is Hector
I'll come up there and trim for you, but it'll cost ya some tall boys!
If they are 2 stroke trimmer I would be willing to bet you that the exhaust port is clogged up with carbon. If so its a pretty easy fix.
I know a guy.
The sure fix on these with the gimped up carbs is replace carb or replace with new trimmer. Carb about half price of trimmer.
Yep. Hedge trimmers and weedeaters are really disposible....by the time you pay for the parts and labor you can all most buy a new one

I buy the cheap Weedeater brand weed eaters at WalMart about 78 bucks for the feather weight ( nice and light and easy to use) ran one 7 years, ran another three years when it gave up...I just toss them in the trash when they quit working right and go get another one. I do a lot of weedeating too...Three acre yard to trim up around and I weedeat all the way around a 3/4 acre pond. I do the same with my hedge trimmer....on my second one now in about 12 years lol. To each his own but that's how I do it.
As rducks would say, you just have too much money $$$$G$$$$$$
Take the muffler off and check the spark arrester screen if its clogged can it ,put about 1oz of sea foam in the gas tank let it set for 30min if it wont run can it.
I have checked the usual stuff and I don't have "G"s money to throw it away. Don't think many folks would throw a $400 hedge trimmer out. Im certainly not going to... Feelay send me a PM with your guy's number if you don't mind.
"G" don't have any money....that's why I don't own a $400 hedge trimmer....I run a $90 weedeater brand one from WallMart.....That's why I can throw it away after 7 years of use
I use one called Efron Hernandes
We use to rebuild them when I was working. But I don't have the parts cleaner or compressed air here. Co-worker price was $20, non co-worker price was $30 for a cleaning, parts and time to get them was added. Exhaust screen may look good, but what is it suppose to look like? Oven cleaner does good, follow directions on can. Use a small parts brass brush to clean it. Blow the water out of it before installing it. Trash in the fuel, the lines in the carb are so small a speck of trash will clog them.
