Lowered it so the yanquis can go back home and tell folks we have cheap gas and big fish down south. Course I might be looked upon as a yankee to you guys!!
Been a while since I seen that.
Clarksdale had gas 3 cents lower than that this morning.
It ought to be about $2.00 per gallon, they've been ripping us off ever since Katrina when folks stood in line and fought over $3.00 gasoline.
Diesel has been higher than regular gas ever since I got a diesel truck in 2002. Don't make since.
$2.09 a gallon today, all 35 gallons of it. To bad I won't run this in my boat.
Bout the same time I bought my first diesel also Scott. They blame it on having to take out more sulphur than they used to. My truck doesn't smoke like my first one. Now I have a 2009 Dodge 3500, with more emission crap on it. I do know for a fact ExxonMobil built a unit in Baytown Tx and Baton Rouge La to help strip the sulphur . Cost a ton of money, but they won't lower the price, even though those projects have paid for themselves. I retired in BR from xom.
$3.71 for diesel here.
Been noticing that. It was down to 304 when I got gas Monday
I spend about $2000.00 per month on diesel.
Gas prices = Pay for Wars!!!
It's all about the Taxes. You guys are suffering for the government State and Federal when they decided to raise fuel road taxes on Diesel for big trucks. Trying to force older less fuel efficient trucks of the road and in that reducing emissions. Then the added burden of reducing Sulphur content. No you have the added burden if you buy a new one of the additive you have to buy to even get the truck to run. Don't know how much it takes on a pickup but on a big truck it' some where around 35 to 40 gallons of that stuff per 2000 gal of fuel burned.
I drive 65000-75000 miles a year
Just filled up at Kroger for $295.00 with card.
3.29 up here in Northern KY
Don't understand why diesel so high anyway. back when gas was $0.75 a gal, diesel was o.15 a gal. by product of making gas any way....
I think I need to move south! The gas around me here in Indiana is running $3.50+/-. $2000 a month in fuel? Holy cow, I hope that involves a business. I agree we are being ripped off. The oil companies continue to post record earnings every quarter. Unfortunately, the Gov"t has their fingers in every aspect of big oil to do anything about it. How can they regulate the power and natural gas providers while the petrol providers have free run??
3.05 here no ethanol
