Final prayer request

As I sit here with my mom who has fought a courageous battle against cancer for the last year, I ask that everyone please shift your prayers for peace and comfort. Huge Thank You to everyone who has kept in contact with her journey but I'm sad to say, her days here on earth are numbered. I can't help but question a lot of things but I also know that she is headed for a better place. There really is no love like that of a mother. If you're blessed to still have yours, stop by and see her, give her a call, if nothing else but to say Hello. I will truly miss the smallest things I shared with mine. Thanks, Brad

Brad... I haven't known you very long, but have really enjoyed meeting and getting to know you over the last couple of years. I'm sorry I don't know your mother... but I do know the sorrow involved when you are losing or have lost a parent. Sadly, I've lost both my father and mother... my mother after a long hard fight with Alzheimer's Disease... so I know first hand there are no words that can change it or make it any easier for you and your family during this time of much sadness while you wait for the time to come. Please accept my prayers for peace from across the counties and try to find some comfort in knowing that we are all praying for the peace and understanding that will only come to you and your family over some time.

I can tell you, as others have and will continue to tell you, that the memories and the love that you all have and will always have for your mother; her grandchildren for their grandma; and her acquaintances will always have for a true friend... will always warm all of you much like the sun warms you on a cold day on the lake. All that you can do now is find comfort that your mother will leave a great legacy behind her here on the earth in you, your wonderful family and in your circle of friends that have shared in knowing and loving her. I reckon that's really all that any mother could want or hope for out of this life. Perhaps it is knowing love such as this that is the only objective of all of the struggles of life and death on this earth.

I pray that your family and your mother have comfort and peace these last days and may her everlasting peace be with our Father in heaven.
May Peace be with you brother... with your Mother... and with your family in Jesus' name. Amen

Hold tight to Jesus and to the KNOWLEDGE that, if she has accepted Christ as savior, soon she will be in a much more glorious place than we can even imagine, without pain or sorrow, and that you will be reunited one day. Mom's are special for sure.

i struggle with words to say at times like this, all i can do is pray to the one that gives the peace that passes all understanding, he knows what you and her need and will take care of it, sometimes its not the way we would but he knows what is best.

Sorry to hear that Brad. A co-worker of mine just lost his 93 yr old mother. It isn't any easier saying goodbye after having them that long either. It will not be the end when that time comes, but the beginning of eternity for her. You'll rejoice with her one day in the kingdom of God.

Brad, So sad to hear the bad news about your mother. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and her.

The greatest tribute to a parent I believe is how their children turn out and what kind of man or woman they choose to be. Your mother, as far as I can tell, did a great job and then some. The questions you have are a part of it and will get easier to deal with as time passes. It got Dad in 96. My wife has survived it three times now, and was in tears as I read your post. She has already sent prayers I'm sure. I'll just say if I can do anything you got my number. Man I hate it Bud.....

Just took an ambulance ride to hospice with my mom. Man ole man, exhausted beyond words.

Times like this are tough, No words can take away the empty feeling one feels at the loss of a loved one. I know from personal experience my friend. I too have lost a brother, one of two sisters, and both parents. Rest assured they are missed everyday, and They are in Gods hands, as I am sure your mom will be. Walking the streets of gold, feeling no pain and suffering no more. My prayers are with you and her. Amen.

Brad, sometimes it is hard to articulate what I want to say so I went on a web site and found this:

Brads mom passed away a few minutes ago. She was one strong and courageous woman. Please continue keeping him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. He appreciates it more than you know.
