Do much damage? It's been around 15 years since I've done that. I got lucky, and only cracked my grill and bent the bumper a little.
I don't have an estimate but the bumper's shot, grill busted, headlight loose. No one hurt and I slowed up enough the airbag didn't go off. Thankfully, I have a $250 deductible so hopefully I'll get out of the dog house quickly. I'm really hoping to be setup to rig with 6 poles by February when the fishing is really good!!!!
1792.99$ how close am I? Lol, glad no one was hurt!
Put a cow catcher on that thing. I've hit 4 in 3 years with mine. No damage at all
Try it on a motorcycle......not fun
Wonder if you can get the tailgate fixed at the same time? Oh did I say that? Wish you well Jim hope the fix goes fast and Holley should be used to the body shops by now.:popcornrotfl
Slowed up what for?
Feel your pain me 3 deer 0 is my score but all cars were a total loss.
No one hurt but the deer so all good.
Glad your ok!
Jim the first new car i ever bought. 6 days old deer down right side almost 4700 wife did that. On the way home from body shop I hit one down left side 345 miles on car going to body shop second time. 1 year later down right side again 8900 worth of damage. Thats when dusted off the bow all the gun and declared war.
Glad you're ok.
I think that the insurance companies should either give a little rebate/reward or knock off a few $$ for every deer we harvest; just for reducing the odds of them having to pay out by that much.
Growing up in the 60's and 70's, it was always so cool to see deer along the roads. Now it's such a nuisance. I wish that for a season or two, they would extend the rifle season and unlimited harvest. I live in the burbs and it's amazing how many deer hits there are. you really got to be on your toes when driving thru certain areas.
Maybe we should all push the state legislature to have the Dept. of Conservation pay our insurance deductable when we receive deer damage, since they so fervently protect them and lay claim to them.
