I know that ramp...ummm...how...?
Was it balanced on the right hand bunk and fell? Or was it never over the trailer to begin with? Still...why did he pull that far out before noticing?!
Looks like it was a nice boat? Someone a good run at the trailer and missed?
At least he didn't scratch the motor!
not a clue. but wish them well
bet it's her fault??
I don't think it was ever in the water....I got the impression they were trying to launch and somehow the boat got over onto the wooden pier. And yes, the motor was up on the wood and then they tried to drag it all off.
Lake looks low to me????
I think they were pleasure boaters and just got the new bass boat that day and was the first time they were launching it. and decided to unload it there and wax the bottom of it. because that are the people that I usually get behind at the ramp...
that sucks! how in the sam he!!???
they have a problem, wounder if alcohol was involved, hope not
Kind of reminds me of Paul and I at the ramps. Just really glad it was not my boat.
Wow! No clue!!??
I see nothing wrong with that its just Smithville!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like the trailer was in too deep when the boat was latched on and when the motor was turned off the boat floated off before he pulled out.
Not sure but it is "was" a great looking Champion.
Hey Joedog, that's why I always load on the other side, that one's kinda tricky!!:Rofl
@#$%^* sad way to treat a nice Champion...
:bash
If I told her once I have told her a dozen times move the dang trailer to the right
But she keeps turning around and moves it to her other RIGHT
not that i would every plan on doing something so stupid but whats the next step after screwing that up so bad? how do you lift a boat at the ramp? God that must have sucked for the people i bet they were there for awhile :D poor boat!
Wow I bet they can't do that again!
I think what they had in mind was getting a tow truck....not the new style, but one of the older ones with a boom....and then running a strap under the boat and using the boom to lift it high enough to get it back on the trailer.
I've studied the photo from all angles. I have come to the conclusion that the big fat ass guy on the right was eating a sammich as the guy on the left was pulling out. The boat was prolly listing severely to starboard while in the water and all things being lighter in water, prolly supported lard ass and his 22 pound special from Subway. Once up on the ramp however, gravity took over and there you have it, mystery solved.
Nothing to say but "da --" and a bunch of other 4 letter things. Someone should teach a class on Backing a trailer and drive on trailers that people should have to pass before getting to a ramp. What a waste of good stuff. Looks like deep load, float off after hook up and drug all to he!!
Dry launches suck!!!
Looks like they need a crane and a brain! Did not see either one in the picture.
