Russ, that is one mess of some nice fish. That bream looks like it has been on steroids. I've never seen one that big come out of Lake Conway. Good job.
Good job Russ....... Looks like the place to be again for some slabs. Especially with this cool front coming in, ought to turn those Conway monsters on!
Wow, what a bream...
Hey mane, did I see you on crappie dot com? Are you on crappie dot com? I seen you on crappie dot com!
Either that's one heck of a gill, or you just kept some really small crappie to make it look that big!
Nice fish!
Nice catch Russ
Good job Russ!
SSSOOOONNNNN! What a bluegill!!! :yikes Nice fish there, feller! :cheers2 Bet that was fun!. Thanks for the post.
Waldo was 10 1/2 inches long, very thick shouldered with allot of girth. I didn't weigh him but I would guess he was over a pound. I would love to have 50 Waldo's like that.
Well 38 meg left of the extra 40. You gotta catch smaller fish or you're gonna be running out of bandwidth soon. Awesome fish. I like a big bluegill.
Mike there is some darn good Blue Gill fishing on Conway. I have caught some Redears up to 13 inches back in my BlueGill days on Conway. I don't fish for them as much as I ust to. Mainly because if I hit the water nowadays I got a Jig pole in my hand. You can bet tho if I catch em and I can fillet em they go in the box with my crappie just as any eating size bass or cats I catch along the way. Crickets, worms or small micro jigs under a bobber all work good on Conway.
Nice catch Russ! That Gill looks big as a plate!
