Not many Bowhunters on here I guess ....
Still have about 3 weeks here.
just got in from checking out a couple stands and cleaning some brush off my trails. hard to really get in the mood up in 95 degree afternoon temps, though. looks like watering holes will be the ticket for a couple more weeks....
IM ready too lets go bring it on. And how can it be deer season already where does the time go when you are having so much fun right.
Looking forward to it just a little early for me to get excited. I do not care for the ticks and mosquitoes. And all the seed ticks that make your skin crawl when you harvest a warm weather deer while skinning it. But yes I will be out there eventually.
:fingerdanceA great day is: hunting in the morning, crappie fish in the afternoon, then back on stand in the evening... minus the 90+ degree heat!
Never have been able to get fired up early season?? Even when it was Oct 15th?? Come on late October!

I did the same thing when I lived in Tn. , but I have 3 different private tracts to hunt here , so I can keep from burning out my best spots before the rut . The spot where I have pics. Of the big buck is only good until they harvest the crops . , just based on the property and the way it lays .
