High tea on the pontoon

The arkansas forum is pretty dead so I thought Id post Cierra and my latest trip to the lake on labor day. We arrived a little befoe noon and pulled cranks for a few minutes then had lunch.

Cooked jamburgers and had tea. But that aint all. We actually caught some fish. We fished for a while and didnt catch a fish. Then I shallowed up the lines and moved closer to shore and started carching fish.
She caught her first Bluecat. Then we caught two sets of doubles. She liked that.

We wound up with 7 or 8 crappie and a catfish.

It wasnt a haul but it was enough for supper and lunch the next day.

excellent work grand dad.. although somewhat older i got the exact same deal with my grand daughters and spent all the time i can with them. sadly, it is getting boy time, nearly 17, but we have a blast every time we get together.

Mr. Windstone I hope I can keep my granddaughter interested in fishing with her pawpaw till she is 17. Your granddaughters look like they are having a great time.
