That dude could do a lot of damage to a swimmer or wade fisherman.
Wow!!!
Scott....I bet that's the big one that we saw swimming by the campground that weekend we stayed in the camper down there
I think the game warden shot that one. Last year some campers reported seeing a gator kill a doe that had come to the water to drink. The next morning the campground manager opened the gate to the campground at 6 am and drove down to Collinsville Landing. There was a dead doe without a head on the bank beside the pier. While he was standing there, a big gator swam across the cove and started chewing on the deer. The game warden was called and he shot the gator. He was over 11' long with about a ft. of his tail missing. He didn't show any fear of humans and he had to go.
I don't like big lizards! Takes some guts to do that stuff.
wonder how many crappie that thing ate in a years time? a lot I bet
Is it season or was it killed for being a trouble maker????
Check this one out, The Clarion-Ledger Outdoors page posted this pic on Facebook. Attachment 135735
It was killed today but no more info was given.
Looks like 2 pairs of boots, and a whole set of luggage, and a belt.

Collinsville, Northwest of Meridian.
That thing could tear up some good crank baits.
That thing could tear up whatever it wanted. It needed to go. I never have liked the things, once they get over about seven feet they need to be harvested.
Those gators are survivors!Prolly be around when we are all dead and gone!Nice pics!
Not the 2 in the pictures. :)
Wow!!!
Sold this guy a boat and he bagged this one out of it. He's from Vicksburg.
Man you guys been gator hunting a lot huh? Some big boys there too. We have our share over here as well. Congrats to the ones that got the gators!
