New here from Oklahoma
Hello all! I retired and have gotten back into fishing. Years ago as a kid and young man I spent lots of time on lakes and rivers in New york, New Jersey and Maine. Unfortunately, work and all grabbed all my time. I"m done with all that nonsense so started fishing again and there's a lot to catch up with. Conditions are a little different here in Oklahoma and I'm planning to update my tackle and learn how to catch these local crappie and more. I look forward to my time spent with everyone on this forum.

Thanks all - my next trip to the lake will be by the weekend and I'll let you know, from time to time, how I'm doing.

Kaw Lake, it's close and has a good reputation for great crappie fishing. So far I'm not doing very well.
