To the world's greatest dad and pawpaw. You have been the rock of our family my entire life and we owe everything to you. Without your guidance who knows where we would be. You taught us to do anything and everything because you wanted us to be independent, and that is exactly what you got. Now it is the grand children's time to learn these lessons and I hope I can teach them as we'll as you taught us. This weekend crabbing with the boys was priceless, they are still bragging about it, especially Logan catching the alligator. It is my goal to get you, the boys and fishing more often in the months to come. I hope you had a wonderful day and have many more to come. I owe you a birthday supper just name the place, lake theriot may be a good place to have a sandwich while fishing, just a suggestion. Thank you for being the best dad on the planet, love you. Thanks fellas, I had a great day. Linda and I spend a few great hours visiting with Bruce and Didi in Baton Rouge. We then left there and went eat the largest steak I've ever seen on a plate. It was a 32 oz. porterhouse at Doe's Eat Place. Wow what a steak. Tender as can be and delicious. We started the meal with a half dozen tamales which we also thought of as very good. In fact I though they were good enough to order a dozen to take home with us.

"G" in my younger days maybe. I shared it with Linda and still brought some home. Today I also get to gnaw on the bone.

Just so dog gone hot!. Made a trip with my son out of gibson last week. We caught two sacs and 15 bream. Not a real good trip as far as numbers go, but qaulity time with the son was nice. Been doing a little bass fishing also.
Sorry I missed your Birthday but from the look of things you are well loved and respected and that says a lot about the man you are thanks for being a good friend.

Todd, you're right about the hot. I was working in the garden at 5 PM a couple of days ago and when I came in for water the temp was 99 and the heat index was 112. Now that's hot. I'm not too anxious to go just yet and besides I still have lots to do around the house and take care of Linda.
Thanks Mike and Danny. Late or not, the clock never stops and I hope it runs a long time. Danny we're looking forward to TB but first we have to get D'Arbonne behind us. May that gathering be a great one.
