awesome!!! yall must have been in the crowd at "boat city" i was telling a friend that Ray Charles could have found the fish this weekend!! i live in henderson and i cant wait till that shuts down!! its crazy the way these people are acting and getting right up on you i had a guy actually rub against my motor last week!!!! thats when i knew i couldnt fish in that spot any more so i went else where and found real good fish just as nice as right there and nobody else around!!! thank god!!! i sure didnt want to see anyone get hurt right there and im sure they had more than one argument !!!

Very nice catch! I like how you titled this post 'Basin'. That tells us somewhere in the 885,000 acres of wetlands.....haha. Care to share which part of the basin, and what you caught on? :dono Seems like everyone on CDC, including myself, likes the details. Thanks for the pics! ;)

Thanks I was fishing with the Armada, it never ceases to amaze me how brazen some people can be I saw a lot of yahoos on the water. Jet skiers that just have to circle all around you while your fishing when there are miles of water away from all the fisherman and yes I mean you on the red black and white jet ski. The guys with all the big boats that feel the need to run up and down the BLVD so everyone can see they have a big fast boat, I think they have some kind of Napoleon Complex are something. A couyan in a center console running about 10 knots 10 ft from a group of boats and he still did not slow down when one guy yelled at him. I just about took a guys head off when he came up behind me in the middle of a cast with a 11ft pole he was just a little close. All in all we did have a great time and caught some real nice fish, that's always a plus when fishing with the boys. I tried to share info with a few guys some were happy to hear some not so much but the proof is in the chest. The color of the day was lime green or pink head with rainbow body 18" to 4' deep in 4 to 14 FOW.

LOL yea the spook works, and fishervet I don't know about the gnats they drove me crazy Sunday.
Jet skis = :crazy: for me.
I hear all the good they are doing in Henderson, but has anyone been fishing the middle part of the Basin like Benoit, Beau Bayou, Oak Ridge, Jackass Bay?
