Thanks slabin I was trying to put my son on some steady action. I see in ms there are the same Ones that only catch crappie but probably will catch and eat white bass or drum when not being watched quicker than anyone
Welcome to the site Anthony, I'm sure there's someone here that can help. And good luck. Any action is better than none.
Welcome to the forum Anthony. I don't get up to 'Butla but a couple times a year and don't know about the white bass.
Well guess I will make the drive to sardis what landing to use coming from southaven
Engineers Point at the south end of the dam.
Cool thanks for all the help. Well worth joining the site
Welcome to the forum.
You might find some whites busting shad early or late, try looking around some of the major points. Anything you can throw a long way, like a little george or a spoon will work, the main thing is finding the schools. Another option would be idling open water and looking for schools and bait on your sonar and dropping a jigging spoon vertically.
Main fact is you can catch more crappie right now than white bass. Pretty much all the fish on butla is a waste of time right now and the white bass on sardis isn't what it was last year. Good luck and welcome to ms
go to Enid, sign 5, and straight across from water valley ramp . they will be there . Haven't eat one since "63" , house and barn burnt and our best mule died .(things were tough):welcome
Welcome aboard from Southaven.
A friend caught some whites off of a boat ramp at Sardis late in the day using rooster tail style spinner baits.
