Im sure he'll post some shots...(actually this shot shows one of the few times that i think Di can be helpful.this school of shad could have been mistaken for structure if only the 2d were used.but of coarse the si would have cleared that up. come to think of it,. maybe theres no real use Di other then pretty pictures?Quote:

Thanks. I got this far yesterday. My mount is a little different than yours. They sell 2 different types thats made for the DF. However, the length of the transducer leaves a little bit to be desire for attaching to a trolling motor. Today, I'm pulling the head off and remove the shaft so I can run the cord and silicone it in the that slot for the cord. I did my last one that way. works great and keep the cord out of the way. I would like the transducer to sit level on the bottom of the trolling motor but no way that will work because of the fin and length. I only assume it want affect it.
