Doing it Ole School
Man, that looks good. I could eat off of one of those steaks for a week. The stomach they left in me holds 3 oz.
I ate lunch at Chic Filet the other day and one chicken nugget filled me up. Lol
hot tub ? explain please .:scratchhead
Welllll. How was they?
This is per DD---"If you want a great steak. Hot tub it. Season your steak, then put in a vacuum seal bag (or 2 ziplock bags) , then into a crockpot on low, don't put the lid on it. Let it sit for 30 minutes or so before you grill it. It brings the internal temp up to about 100 degrees so all you gotta do it sear it as hot as you can get it for a couple minutes per side"
Well it works I will tell ya that, they were fine and I will be doing some more like that.
We heated the water to 100 degrees before we put it into the crock pot. Then double bagged the steaks with some Moore's marinade, left them in the pot for an hour. Pulled them out and put on some salt and pepper and seared them on the charcoal grill. We covered them and let'em rest for about 10 minutes. They were fine, the marinade seemed to be pushed all the way through the meat, one of the tastiest steaks I've ever had.
You gewbers are making me hungry. I haven't had a good steak in quite a while.
Ohhhh. I like to eat!
Reason it's called hot tubbin is folks were just throwing it in their hot tub to warm up. Lol. All your doing is slowly getting the internal temp up to about 98-100 degrees. Real fast sear on both sides over super high heat. Makes it more tender
If ya wanna make it even better. Made a compound butter with some fresh herbs n top it with that
ROGER . WILL TRY IT .:ThumbsUp
Looks good, will have to try that.
