It has been planted in crappie guts and watered only. You may ask, "where did you come up with crappie guts?". At this time, I cannot reveal my source, but most anyone that catches fish will let you have a bucket of guts.:biggrin
I usually have a few mater samishes before I pick peas. This year looks like I'll have peas and cornbread before the maters are ripe.
I took the wife out the other night for dinner. We stopped at this place, made our order and sat down to eat. Country fried steak, greens and pinto beans with cornbread. I made a round on that plate then took a bite of that piece of bread and good god, I thought I was going to lose it heading to the bathroom. Well I carried it back up to the counter and asked, "do you have any cornbread that not de'sert?" He said it was southern style. Well this southern boy wasn't raised on sugared cornbread, it went into the corn mash.
No sugar! X2. Lol haven't had a mess of beans and "combread" in a while, sounds good.
I've got some good tomatoes coming off now. Gave a sack away to a friend already.

Looking good. Those are some dandies. I just took the 3rd ripe tomato off of my one plant. I counted and as of this morning, I had 26 green ones left on it. Maybe they will go ahead and get red sometime in the near future.
