Did they break in your vehicle or get something out of back just curious to what extent they my go, I'll be fishing there the next few weekends and I'd sure hate to catch em stealing from me, it won't be pretty, if its happening a lot it would be pretty easy to set em up!
In the bed and in my tool box took other guys
Jack and one guy had all the paint ? rollers, brushes for
job and they all gone
Might use Carter cove ramp
hang them
Trail cameras in the trees
Hate to hear that Jason. Glad I launched at the cove. Not but 1 way in and out at Andersons branch unless they used a boat or ATV.
Nimrod can vouch for this. Last year I left my boat at the ramp with all my poles and gear and even left a digital camera on the deck. It was just like I left it when Nimrod and I got back several hours later. I hate a thief.
I recently had two swivel seats and a battery charger stolen from my Tracker boat in the slip.
I guess I trust people to much it was the first time I had any thing taken
Latest update on Nimrod thefts...Talked to a guy who had a black plastic tool box full of tools stolen out of the bed of his truck this morning at the Carter Cove ramp. They also hit Quarry Cove stealing some tackle boxes and poles that I know of. I suggest that anybody who had something stolen report it to the Yell County Sheriff's office just incase they catch these people. Earlier this week, a resident of Carter Cove on oxygen, had 6 empty oxygen tanks stolen off his front porch. What kind of person steals a person's oxygen tanks?
A sorry one is what it takes to steal oxygen, course Oxygen isn't cheap either. As for the theft it's been happening on Dequeen lake too. Bout 3 months ago a guy had his motor toter stole outa the back of his truck and his tool box was broke into and tools stolen. Just recently a guy told me he had a jug of gas stole outa the back of his truck and others had stuff stolen from Oak Grove and Pine Ridge ramps, so It happens everywhere. They make rat shot in several different calibers now though:fingerdance. If they, wardens, corps of Engineers, camp hosts, police, ect. would set up camera's they could catch it sooner or later and then make an example of them once they did that would stop it.
Folks just ain't the same these days. Buddy had lines cut the other day on the lake also. He said it was like they seen a fish on the line, pulled it up, cut the fish off and tossed it in the boat then took off. The other line was just tossed up on the bank and all their line were tagged, and baited at dark then ran at daylight.
If sad we are getting to this point in our lives
Happening on Lake Erling in SW Arkansas also .

QUOT
Stakeout and Rat Shot time maybe.
Need to stake out and when caught block the only road out or spike it . Have a some one stationed with a gun till law arrives first time.
Perry County crack/meth heads.
id say go check all the local pawn shops, then the surrounding pawn shops if any of the stolen stuff is there ask the owner/mgmt who pawned or sold it to them... if they wont tell ya just call the law enforcement and let them know you found your stuff and they can handle it from there. the only thing worse than a thief is a liar!
Just visited with one of my reps today and he had a tool box with around 250the in tools stole out of the back of his truck at Nimrod. If any of you hear anything let me know, he was very interested to hear that he was not the only one.
Good advice.........but get a police report first and show it to them, then if they lie they can be in trouble too........the police won't go around looking for your stuff, it's up to you to find and let them know where it is it if you want it back........I think that when an area is having a lot of theft problems law enforcement should set up stings with gps trackers to track and catch the thief's right where they live and breed.

I agree with you there, but you have to be on it 24/7, 4 to 10 city listings around you.
Call the law in to make a report. I hope you have ID numbers or names on the items. Everything pawned or sold to a pawn shop has to be recorded with sellers name and ID, suppose to be. If the item is sold to a pawn shop it has to be held for a few days for police reports. If it's pawned it will carry the length of the pawn loan, in some states 30 extra days. If you find your unmarked property in a pawn shop don't call the police, don't go raising heck with the owner. It won't do any good. He could call the law on you. Just tell him that this item was stolen from my truck, can I get it back at a little over your cost. If yall can't agree on a good price either buy it at his price or go and buy a new one.
If your items have ID numbers or names on them but at home. Don't call the law to have them added to the report. Carry them to the office, see that it's your report that the IDs are added to.
