Tenn Tom Waterway is rite there
I ain't real thrilled with fishin that hydrilla infested waterway
Welcome to my world then Torch, 1 1/2 hours to Nader, 1 hour to the Ten Tom & 1 1/2 hour to Barnett
That no drive...1hr to Butla ... 1.30 Sardis ...1.50 Enid...
2.10 Grenada & 2.15 to Pickwick ....their all worth the drive...
Go to Bluff Lake on the Noxubee Refuge. Huge crappie in there if you can find them.
They grow them big, big there for sure. It is probably the toughest lake you will ever fish this time of year though. On a good day in the spring most locals with lots of experience there can only scratch out 10-15 per day.
feesherman... tushhog.. thats awful.. it cost yall 100 bucks a day to go fishing..
Handi, I don't know how you do it..
Torch, honestly the Ten Tom is gonna be your best choice. The hydrilla is not bad at all right now. You can catch some decent fish on old log jams in the main river. Hope this helps
Dee, the ones of us that live close to one of these good lakes are absolutely spoiled. Tammy and I are going to Enid this morning, it will take us 30 minutes to get in the water and ifn things go good we wont even crank the outboard except to play with the new to us Cat, otherwise I would only crank up to load back up. I feel abused when I have to drive to Sardis, heck thats almost 50 miles!!!!!:yikesSPOILED I tell ya!!!!
Handi I am in the same boat you are. Takes me at least 2hours to get anywhere! But if you wanna fish you will find ways to make it happen.
